
John Dulmes, Executive Director
John Dulmes is Executive Director of the Michigan Public Transit Association, the organization representing public transit providers across our state.
John has been MPTA Executive Director since August 2024, and he previously worked as the director of the Michigan Chemistry Council in Lansing and in federal policy roles for a national trade association and a US Senator in Washington, DC. As MPTA Executive Director, John is responsible for the development and implementation of the MPTA’s strategic direction, along with oversight of goals, membership development, policies, programs and procedures to fulfill the organization’s mission.

Mandi VanOoteghem, Manager of Membership Services
Mandi VanOoteghem is the Manager of Membership Services at the Michigan Public Transit Association, where she supports member engagement, coordinates key membership services, and assists with MPTA communications, meetings, and events. Her work helps ensure members and partners stay connected to the association and have access to timely, relevant resources.
Mandi brings professional experience in nonprofit and association settings with a focus on member support, coordination, and event assistance. She works closely with transit agencies, business members, and partners across Michigan to support MPTA programs and strengthen relationships throughout the public transportation community.

Pink Cianciolo, Director of Administrative Services
Pink Cianciolo is Director of Administrative Services, responsible for coordinating all administrative activities, including meetings, bookkeeping, and membership activities.

Christina Lawrence, Michigan Transit Training & Support Coordinator
Christina Lawrence is the Michigan Training and Support Coordinator, and is responsible for developing and coordinating public transportation training programs, supporting MPTA Committees, and assisting in the evaluation and development of services to support Michigan transit providers. She has professional expertise in adult educational program development, regulatory compliance and consultation, and events and outreach.
