John Dulmes, Executive Director
John Dulmes serves as MPTA's Executive Director, representing public transit agencies, other transportation providers, and industry partners across Michigan. He joined MPTA in August 2024 after serving as director of the Michigan Chemistry Council and holding federal policy and government relations roles in Washington, D.C.
As Executive Director, John provides leadership for the Association's strategic direction, advocacy efforts, member engagement, financial sustainability, partnerships, and statewide initiatives that strengthen public transportation and mobility services throughout Michigan. He works closely with MPTA members, policymakers, state agencies, and industry partners to advance transit priorities and enhance member value.

Mandi VanOoteghem, Membership & Events Manager
Mandi VanOoteghem serves as MPTA's Membership & Events Manager, supporting member engagement, communications, meetings, conferences, and special events. She works closely with transit agencies, business members, and partners to ensure members receive high-quality services, timely information, and meaningful opportunities for professional development and networking.
Mandi brings experience in nonprofit and association management with a focus on member relations, event coordination, communications, and customer service. She helps coordinate membership programs, sponsorships, conferences, committee activities, and other initiatives that support Michigan's public transportation community.

Pink Cianciolo, Finance & Grants Manager
Pink Cianciolo serves as MPTA's Finance & Grants Manager, overseeing the Association's financial operations, grant administration, budgeting, and business services. She works closely with MPTA members, vendors, and the Michigan Department of Transportation to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and administration of state-funded programs and reimbursements.
Pink brings more than a decade of accounting and financial management experience in both nonprofit and private-sector organizations. Her background includes financial reporting, fund management, budget development, account reconciliation, payroll administration, and grant tracking. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and helps ensure MPTA's financial resources and member programs are managed effectively and transparently.

Christina Lawrence, Michigan Transit Training & Support Coordinator
Christina Lawrence serves as MPTA's Michigan Transit Training & Support Coordinator, leading the development and delivery of training, technical assistance, and educational programs that support public transportation providers across Michigan. She works closely with transit agencies, subject matter experts, state partners, and industry stakeholders to identify training needs and coordinate resources that help strengthen transit operations and employee development throughout the state.
Christina brings expertise in adult education, regulatory compliance, program development, outreach, and event coordination. She supports MPTA committees, coordinates statewide training opportunities, and helps connect transit professionals with resources and information that support safe, effective, and customer-focused transportation services.
