The Benzie Transportation Authority (Benzie Bus) is seeking a full time Dispatch & Mobility Manager. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Dispatch Department, including staff and call center oversight. They will be able to gain advanced-level knowledge of transit technologies, including computer-aided dispatch software, and be the “go to” person in the department for technology assistance. Considered the “social workers of transportation”, mobility managers create and manage mobility options at both systemic and system-to-customer levels in order to improve the reach, efficiency, and affordability of public transportation services. The right candidate will be creative in their problem solving; compassionate; and willing to leave no stone unturned in order to find the right solutions for our passengers. Duties include but are not limited to: data collection and analysis; project management; conflict resolution; team management/oversight; public speaking/outreach; dispatching; assisting Operations Manager and Executive Director as required.
