Title: Director of Finance
Location: SMART, Detroit

Description: SMART (Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation) seeks an experienced professional to join its executive team as the Director of Finance, whose primary responsibilities include general fund and capital fund accounting and reporting; budgets, long-term projections and variance analysis; cash management and treasury; external/internal auditing; procurement; project control of funding and grants.

Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Clare County Transit Corporation

Description: Clare County Transit Corporation, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for preparing daily bank deposits, biweekly payroll and accounts payables, monthly financial statements (including journal entries).
Preparing and filing all monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports, balance general ledger accounts, classify revenue and expenses according to Michigan Dept of Transportation guidelines. Other duties include answering telephone, ordering supplies, attending board/employee meetings and providing other administrative support. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; problem solving and analytical skills; Proficient in Lotus 123 and Microsoft Word; Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, strong communications (written and verbal) and organizational skills; Personnel record keeping.

Minimum requirements: High School diploma, college courses in accounting. At least 5 years of experience in accounting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for minimum requirements.

Title: Director
Location: St. Joseph County Transportation Authority

Description: The millage supported St. Joseph County Transportation Authority is seeking a full time director to manage and coordinate the operations and finances of the Authority and to work with the Authority Board to develop and market improved transportation throughout the County. Required skills and knowledge include MDOT/FTA experience, good communication skills, and computer, marketing and accounting experience. Experience in public transportation is a plus, but not a requirement. Salary range is $40-$45,000 + benefit package.
